What We've Been Doing...

November marks the beginning of deer season, so we've told Daddy "bye" several times and wished him luck as he heads off to his deer lease. Here is a picture of them before he left for opening weekend.

Here are some more pictures of Kate and what we do on a daily basis. She is getting so big and beginning to smile and make little laughing noises.

This one's for Boppy, Mimi, and Aunt Pat. Kate was watching the LSU Tigers and cheering them on in this one.

Below is Kate dressed and ready to head to the airport to welcome in and meet from Wyoming her Aunt Kim and cousins Caroline and Allison Jane. Mommy was so excited to see them and finally meet her youngest niece, Allison Jane.

Here is Kate playing on her activity mat and practicing sitting up in her bumbo chair.

To Grandmother's House We Go

Kate got to meet her great grandmothers, and some aunts and uncles and cousins a few days ago. We had a great time at Nana's and Momma Bobbie's. Here are some pictures from our trip.

We had so much fun there that a couple of weeks later we went back. This time Aunt Kim and cousins Caroline and Allison Jane came along. We had a great time visiting and watching the girls play.

I think this picture is so funny. Kate looks so sad and Allison Jane looks so happy!

We can't wait to go back to Delta County!

Pumpkin Patch and Halloween

We took Kate to her (and our!) first pumpkin patch on Saturday. It was a neat place and I'm sure we'll be making many more trips there in the future. We think she was the cutest little pumpkin in the patch that day.

For Kate's first Halloween, she was a ladybug. Chuck and I sat on the driveway and passed out candy to the kids while our little ladybug slept. We figured this was probably the last Halloween for a long time that we'd be able to stay home.
